Pixelogic Weekly #17
Nonogram puzzles for the week of July 25, 2025
Hello nonogram lovers. I’m considering a new format for the Pixelogic Weekly newsletter, and I’d love your feedback. Typically I send out the newsletter as a paid post with a free preview that allows everyone to enjoy the Mini 15x15 puzzle section, while reserving the Daily 20x20 and Weekly puzzles for paid newsletter subscribers. This approach has some some drawbacks, one of which is that only paid subscribers can comment on the posts, which I think is a bummer.
So I’m considering posting future newsletter emails as free posts, so there won’t be any paywalled content at the end. The benefit here is everyone can participate in comments and there isn’t an annoying subscribe banner at the bottom of every post. For paid subscribers, there will be a link at the bottom of the email that takes you to a special page for paid subscribers only that contains the Daily 20x20 and Weekly playable puzzles for the week. I’m also considering adding additional content for paid subscribers, including hints for the puzzles of the week.
I think this structure would be a better experience for both the paid and free subscribers, though I’d love to hear from you! I’ve made this week’s newsletter post entirely free, including links to the larger puzzles, so everyone can comment and join the discussion.
